EV Drive Nepal's current self-drive EV rates run from NPR 6,500 to NPR 12,000 per rental day, depending on the vehicle and rental duration. The listed price is per day: 1–6 days use the daily rate, 7–14 days use the 7+ rate, 15–29 days use the 15+ rate, and 30+ days use the 30+ rate.

Lower-cost EV options
The Tata Nexon EV, BYD Dolphin, Nammi Box and Tata Punch EV sit at the lower end of the current rate range. They can be useful starting points for renters comparing city driving, shorter trips and overall budget, subject to availability for the dates requested.
Mid-range EV options
Nammi Vigo, BYD Atto 2, Proton e.MAS 7, Omoda E5, MG ZS EV, BYD Atto 3, Neta X and Leapmotor B10 occupy the middle of the listed range. Compare their space, ground clearance, luggage needs and route suitability rather than choosing on price alone.
Higher-rate and premium vehicle options
iCAUR V23, Deepal S05, Deepal S07 and Jaecoo J6 are the higher-rate options in the current fleet. Their larger SUV format or equipment may suit a particular group or route, but the right choice still depends on passengers, luggage, terrain and confirmed availability.
Charging costs
The renter pays charging costs during the rental. Charging plans depend on the vehicle, route and available charging points. Our route guides explain known charging considerations; ask us to confirm the practical plan for your dates and destination.
Security deposit
The security deposit is normally NPR 50,000. It is normally collected before handover according to the agreed payment arrangement, including cash or bank transfer. The vehicle is inspected after return and cleaning. If the inspection cannot be completed the same day, the refundable balance is normally returned by the following day. Deductions may apply under the rental agreement.
Insurance and damage responsibility
The renter is responsible for damage costs up to NPR 30,000. For larger eligible damage claims, insurance is used, with NPR 30,000 treated as the renter's minimum excess or liability, subject to the rental agreement, circumstances and the insurer's claim terms. Insurance should not be understood as covering every type of damage automatically.
Unlimited kilometres
The current rental policy provides unlimited kilometres. Route planning, charging and vehicle suitability still matter, especially for longer or higher-altitude journeys.
Pickup and drop-off charges
- Pokhara Airport pickup is normally NPR 500.
- Hotel pickup or drop-off depends on location and rental duration; basic fees may be waived for longer rentals.
- Kathmandu delivery or collection is approximately NPR 7,000–10,000 one way, depending on the arrangement.

Late return, cleaning, parking and fines
Late return is charged at NPR 500 per hour. Vehicles are handed over clean; if a returned vehicle requires cleaning, the standard cleaning charge is normally NPR 500. Parking charges, tolls and traffic fines incurred during the rental are the renter's responsibility. If an issue results from the vehicle, its documentation, modification or another matter attributable to EV Drive Nepal, it will be reviewed separately.
What can change the final price?
Peak dates, special routes, delivery or collection, the selected vehicle and confirmed availability can all affect the final amount. Published rates do not guarantee that a specific vehicle is available for specific dates.
